News was slow this summer as everyone took their holidays. Even so, in keeping with the theme of the summer, August had its fair share of Swine Flu stories. Tens of thousands were reported to be faking swine flu symptoms to stock up on Tamiflu, despite other stories suggesting that it causes sickness and nightmares in children. On the other hand, there was much progress on a Swine flu vaccine as tests showed it was successful. |
